Happy #FrontRowFriday, Encore family! We can’t wait to see you at our 50th Anniversary Bash tomorrow night. We’re so excited about the festivities that we just can’t help ourselves – we’re sharing some ways to celebrate a whole day early to get the party started.
1) Follow us to the party! Share all of your elegant memories from the Bash with the hashtag #EncoreBash50. And be sure to follow us at @EncoreArlington to join in on the fun (and maybe even get a sneak peak of the action).
2) Spread the joy of theatre through the Theatre for All Fund. Your generous contributions have helped support Encore’s myriad of educational programs and production opportunities for 50 years – half a century! We hope to raise $250,000 during this anniversary season to provide even more to the children of the DMV area, perhaps culminating in a theatrical home of our very own.
3) Break out your Broadway best! Whether you feel more like a Fair Lady, a White Knight, or a King or Queen of old, your party attire is sure to dazzle us all. In need of some inspiration? Fear not! Rosemarie, our fabulous Development Associate, has pulled together some ideas for you. And remember, you’re never fully dressed without a smile!
We hope this gives you just a small taste of the excitement that tomorrow’s festivities have in store. We’re so proud and thankful to be celebrating 50 years of Theatre by Kids, for Kids with all of you. Without our wonderful students, families, and staff, none of this theatrical magic would be possible. Now bust out your dancing shoes, cause we’re ready to celebrate!
