Private lessons are available to students in all stages of learning, from beginners to experienced performers. Lessons are a great way to get customized, one-on-one instruction from an expert, to prepare for an audition or performance, to hone your skills as an artist, or to simply learn more about the performing arts!

Typical lessons occur once a week. In special cases, and after consultation with the Registrar, a 30-minute lesson may be arranged. Lessons are currently offered on weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as on Saturdays.

Should you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, arrangements should be made directly with your teacher.

Private lessons are $85/hour. We ask that students commit to four or eight lessons at a time, which must be paid for in advance. When there is one lesson remaining in your package, Encore will contact you to see if you would like to re-enroll.

Lesson packages expire 1 year from the original date of purchase.

Scholarships are available for private lessons and for all of Encore’s education programs. To apply, please complete the form on our policies page.

Lessons must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. If a student is a “no show” it will be counted against their remaining lessons.
