Take an exciting journey through Middle Earth with an ordinary hobbit, Bilbo Baggins! Encore is pleased to bring J.R.R. Tolkien’s beloved novel to life onstage. Bilbo and a throng of dwarfs embark on an adventure to reclaim important treasure, encountering goblins, trolls, and even a dragon along the way. But, as the great wizard Gandalf advises, be sure not to stray off the path! Recommended for ages 4 and up.

Through his quest, Ugly overcomes challenging situations, makes unforgettable friends, and finds love in many forms. Be there as Ugly discovers that he is truly beautiful, both inside and out. Mr. Wolf is in the defendant’s seat, and the plaintiffs, represented by the Fairy Godmother, take the witness stand one by one and tell their traumatizing stories of their encounters with Mr. Wolf. When Briar Rose is born, the King and Queen throw a celebration to welcome their newborn daughter. The whole kingdom is invited, save for one truly wicked witch. In revenge, Evilina casts a sleeping spell on the young Princess; a spell that can only be broken by true love’s kiss. Encore invites you to fall in love again with Sleeping Beauty, an amusing and playful presentation of the well-known fairytale. Special pre-performance music provided by Prelude Youth Orchestra on June 8 & 9 at the 3:00 pm performances. Recommended for ages 4 and up.
