In this remake of a Christmas classic, your favorite fairytale characters bring to life the story of Ebenezer Scrooge’s magical Christmas Eve. Mother Goose lends her talents to narrate as the Big Bad Wolf takes on the humbugging lead role. Cinderella, the Three Little Pigs, Old King Cole, and many beloved characters help create a new twist on the traditional Dickensian fable. We recommend this production for ages 4 and older.

What starts as a mystery turns into an adventure in a brand new Encore adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel. Young Jim Hawkins escapes a dull life to search for where “X” marks the spot on a mysterious treasure map left behind by an old sea captain. Jim meets a slew of thrill seeking sea farers as he races to find the treasure before any pirates do. From the playwright that brought you last season’s hit, The Three Musketeers, we recommend this production for ages 6 and older.

Six young spellers come together at a local school to use their talents to decide who will represent Putnam County in the national bee. Their zany personalities shine as they take on words that most people have never heard of, let alone can spell. Words fly as this fun, modern musical spins a tale of growing up while competing for prestige and bragging rights. Presented by Encore’s Musical Theatre Intensive program. We recommend this production for ages 8 and older.

Mary Poppins is a practically perfect, spoonful of sugar nanny that unexpectedly arrives in the Banks household one blustery day. Using lessons disguised as games, she helps to teach the Banks children how to be their best selves. But, is Mary Poppins’ magic enough to save this family from drifting apart?
