Theatre By Kids, For Kids!
Encore Stage & Studio offers a variety of special Scout experience packages. These packages will allow scouts to not only see a production, but also participate in a workshop specially designed to meet selected badge and adventure requirements while exploring theater as an art form. Our workshops are taught by seasoned, theater professionals and are designed to help scouts gain confidence in learning to express themselves in different ways. Class content will address badge/adventure requirements and teach scouts how to use their acting tools (body, voice, and imagination).
To reserve a workshop, troop or dens must have at least 12 scouts.
Participation in these workshops will enable Lion, Tiger and Wolf Scouts to meet select requirements for their Roaring Laughter, Pick Your Path, Stories in Shapes, On Your Mark, Rumble in the Jungle, Howling at the Moon Adventures.
These workshops will enable Daisies to meet requirements of the Considerate and Caring petal, Brownie Scouts to meet requirements for their My Best Self, My Family Story, Dancer, Making Friends Badges, Junior Scouts to meet requirements for their Journey: aMUSE and Playing the Past Badges, and Cadettes to meet requirements of Comic Artist.
